Introducing Cathy, a home personal fitness trainer serving Andover, North Andover, Tewksbury, North Reading, Wilmington and surrounding towns.

My fitness career started in 1998 when I began teaching a variety of group fitness classes.   In 2004 I attended my first pilates class. I was impressed that many of the pilates exercises were similar to physical therapy moves.   The pilates focus on strength, flexibility, and endurance without risking injury was exactly what I believed.  In addition, pilates exercises can be tailored to the individual's needs no matter what their fitness level or injury history.   I was searching for a way to combine my medical background with my love of fitness and Pilates was the answer.

Helping others reach their health goals has been always been my passion.   Working as a nurse I enjoyed helping clients improve and maintain a healthy lifestyle and in my fitness career I am able to do the same.  I teach Stott Pilates because I strongly believe in the health benefits of increased core strength and flexibility.  The foundations of pilates are transferrable to any exercise and used in my personal training as well.  I have worked in a variety of settings with different populations including seniors and adults with special needs.
