It's convenience. We at the Personalized Physique understand that you lead a busy life: kids, work, travel, and many more reasons why getting to exercising just never seems to happen. Home personal training is a convenient method of training where one of our certified personal trainers comes directly to your home or office. All of the equipment needed is brought by your personal trainer as well as they design a program geared towards your individual fitness and wellness goals.
We go anywhere. We've trained in homes, offices, fields, parking lots, in parks, on trails, even on your child's swing set. We believe that fitness shouldn't be limited to your physical location.
Yes. We can meet you at your gym, corporate gym facility, health club or fitness center. We recommend asking the gym management if they allow outside personal trainers to come to their gym to train. They may also ask you to pay an additional guest fee for having our trainer come to your gym.
Not much. It doesn't take a lot of space to get in great shape. If you are able to perform a snow angel anywhere in your home then you are all set! The space size needed is approximately a 6 foot by 6 foot space on the floor. We have never come across anyone who doesn't have enough space in their home.
We cater to a variety of schedules.

Saturday and Sunday: 7am- 7pm

Building positive self image and self-esteem is important in the development of any young teenager's life. In a world where children are bombarded with media defining 'beautiful', it is important for us to build healthy body images. We do this through teaching healthy habits and developing lifelong wellness skills. At the Personalized Physique we offer a unique approach to wellness, athletics and fitness by offering programs that engage balance, coordination, speed, agility, plyometrics, and utilizing their own body weight.
Nope. This is a common misconception that is absolutely not true. Even though athletes and executives use our services to keep them in tip top shape, their programs are customized for their needs.
- Initial Consultation
- Accountability calendar
- Meal Planning Calendar
- Measurements of waist and hip every 2-4 weeks, as well as your starting measurements
- Body fat analysis
- BMI analysis
- Access to online, phone, and email support
- Home personal training sessions (varies on what your goals are and the program plan discussed with your trainer)
During the initial appointment you will meet with the trainer to discuss your fitness goals as well as take your measurements so we can assess your starting point. You will also be put through a fitness assessment workout which is a series of exercises and challenges that help us to decide the best course of action for us to help you reach your goals.
Our programs are designed to be cardiovascular, weight lifting, and functional training. All of these components help to develop even muscle development, condition your body as a whole and create faster results. You can expect to have a total body workout.
We have had clients lose anywhere from 10-90 pounds, lose several sizes in clothes, attain better posture, body fat % reduction, lower cholesterol, lower blood pressure, strengthen joints, maintain bone density, improve endurance and energy levels, "lift up" the glutes, decrease cellulite, develop tone and muscle development, and improve confidence. Everyone is different and saying only one benefit wouldn't grant our clients' hard work justice!
Our sessions are 60 minutes. Many gym goers believe that you should workout 1-2 hours a day to get a real workout. This is not true, as the reason many people take this long is because their workouts are inefficient. Our fitness programs focus on keeping clients moving to maximize the time spent working out, utilizing multiple muscle groups and incorporating appropriate equipment.
Be open minded and ready for change. This all that we ask of our clients. We understand that unhealthy habits were not developed overnight and that it takes time and energy to develop new healthy habits. But we are here in phone, email, online check ins, and in person to see to it, so that you have the support to make a lifestyle change for good!
Start by emailing or calling us. If you still have questions, concerns or are still not sure if personal training is right for you, this is a good way without any commitment to see if this is for you! If you then feel comfortable and would like to move forward and start your personal training program then you can set up your first initial assessment during this time period.
Absolutely not. The only thing you will ever need is a pair of dumb bells. During your initial assessment everything is provided, and at this point your trainer will tell you which size weights you will need. Other than that, everything is included, we have bosu trainers, bands, resist a balls, medicine balls, pilates equipment, TRX suspension, and so much more to help you reach your goals.
Not much. The best thing you could do for yourself is invest in a great pair of sneakers. This is very important and we highly recommend going to a sneaker store that will "fit" your type of foot. Many people don't realize that much of their bodily pain can be traced back to their shoes! You could be wearing shoes that do not fit your foot type. Besides sneakers, you will need water and a towel or mat. That is it!
All of our trainers are certified by national certifying organizations/agencies for personal trainers. We do not hire anyone who is uncertified. All of our trainers are also required to maintain their CPR certifications as well. Our trainers work together as a team to bring clients the highest level of achievable results. Programs are designed and monitored not only by your individual trainer but also by our head trainer to ensure ultimate success.
We recommend that you meet with your trainer to start with at least 2 times a week. This is the best way to get results, stay accountable, keep motivated, stay focused, develop form and technique. We also have people who train 3-5 days. We do not suggest training less than 1 time a week, as this creates less accountability and we want to make sure you reach your goals! Our average client trains 1-3 times a week. Depending on your fitness goals you can discuss with your trainer a plan to success.
We will work with you. We understand that having a stranger in your house is personal, and we want to make sure that you are comfortable. We also hope that clients understand that all of our trainers are here to make sure you are satisfied with your sessions and that we work as a team effort to make sure this is accomplished.
You are not alone! Many people come to see us, just for this reason. The good news is that working out doesn't have to be boring! Our programs are designed to be fun and make the time fly by. To be physically fit you have to start somewhere, and now is as good a time as ever!
We do everything from full body conditioning to tone and tighten, weight training (upper and lower body), core conditioning, abdominal work, calisthenics, plyometrics, circuit training, cardio drills to burn more calories, sports specific drills, agility courses and more! Every day is a little different from the day before, no two workouts are identical!
Yes. We encourage people to get a group together. It is a great way to stay motivated and promote healthy competition and develop a buddy system to stay on track. We do offer discounts for multiple people training during a session, please call for more information on rates.
